About this event

The Burnham-Moores Center for Real Estate invites you to attend its 27th Annual Real Estate Conference and celebrate our 30th Anniversary of the Real Estate Program at the University of San Diego's Knauss School of Business!

Learn about the economic and residential outlook for the upcoming year from our keynote speaker Douglas G. Duncan, senior vice president and chief economist at Fannie Mae.

Linden Blue, vice chairman of General Atomics, will discuss the future of energy including fusion technology.

Nikia Clarke, PhD, senior vice president of San Diego Regional Economic Development Corporation (EDC) and executive director of World Trade Center San Diego (WTCSD), will speak to the local San Diego economy and its position with the global economy.

Following the speakers are two breakout sessions. The first session is a Capital Markets panel moderated by, Jim Mulvihill, principal at PSRS. Panelists include Mike Paris, senior vice president at U.S. Bank, Matt Stevens, managing director at Greystone, Todd Barnett, managing director at Wells Fargo and Tony Frook, senior managing director of commercial real estate investment at Americo Financial Life and Annuity.

Do I need a ticket for this event? There is no need to print a ticket to this event. Please check in by your last name when you arrive at the registration desk.

What is the dress code for this event? The dress code is business.

What are my parking options at the venue? Limited self-parking at the San Diego Marriott La Jolla will be available at a discounted event rate of $10 per car. Additional self-parking is available at the Westfield UTC mall located across the street with the first two hours free of charge. After the initial two hours of free parking, guests are charged $2 each hour thereafter. Attendees are strongly encouraged to carpool to the event.

What is the refund policy? Refunds (minus the Eventbrite fee which is non-refundable) will be provided for cancellations received with written e-mail notification by March 16, 2023. No refunds will be provided for any cancellations after March 16, 2023.

Is my registration/ticket transferrable? Fees paid for attendance to the 27th Annual Real Estate Conference are transferable to another attendee of your choice with written e-mail notification to salu@sandiego.edu within 48 business hours of the conference.
